Year End Wrap Up
It is hard to believe that it is March 1st and we only have 4 weeks remaining in this fiscal year! At this time, we would like to ask that you help us out by ensuring that your Expenditure Reports are submitted to the CAP Office no later than March 26, 2004. Please keep in mind that we cannot process any claims for payment after this date.

To finalize your Agreement for Funding (fiscal year 2003-2004), all sites must complete a written Final Report. This report must also be submitted to the CAP Office by March 26, 2004. If you do not have a copy of this report, please visit our Intranet to download the 2003-2004 Final Report.

We thank you in advance for your continued cooperation. By concluding the fiscal year end on time, you are ensuring that all funds approved for your CAP site will be received.
New Stats Tracking FormBack to Top
CAP has developed a new EXCEL file to help you track your monthly statistics. It is designed for the entire year of 2004 and is meant to compliment the paper tracking materials we made available last fall. At the end of each day, you add in your numbers for the day, and the spreadsheet will tally the totals for you. You can find this spreadsheet in the Resource Centre. A special thanks to the Kindale Public Library for the one month version of this that was used as a template for the larger version. Why not try it out for March and let us know how it works!
Swasp Program AnnouncedBack to Top
The 2004 SWASP Program has been announced. This program is delivered by the Community Services Council Newfoundland and Labrador (CSC) and funded by Youth Employment Initiatives of the federal Department of Human Resources and Skills Development (HRSD). Only voluntary, community-based groups and non-profit organizations such as hospitals, municipal councils, school boards, etc. may apply. This means the majority of CAP Sites can apply. For more information and the online application visit: http://www.envision.ca/swasp2004/.

Please Note: Applying to SWASP will not affect your opportunities under the CAP Youth Initiative next year.
Exterior SignageBack to Top
Exterior CAP signs have been mailed to all sites that did not take one with them when leaving the CAP conference in late November, 2003. If you have not received your new sign, contact us right away. Remember, place your sign in an appropriate location so the public can see it.
CAP Marketing WinnersBack to Top
In conjunction with our new marketing campaign, we are giving away t-shirts via our online ballot. The first group of winners are: Courtney Stephens of Pouch Cove, Samantha Price of Gander, Ruby Small of Summerford, Maureen Hulan of McKays and Rod Beals of L'anse an Loup. Congratulations to all the winners. We will announce more in the next edition of the News!etter.
