Web-4-All Applications
As a follow-up to the talk about Web-4-All by Kier Martin, Independent Living Resource Centre, at the CAP conference, your CAP site has the opportunity to be designated as a Web-4-All location. There are approximately 200 units that are to be disbursed throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Your Program Officer will be emailing you with further detailed information concerning the application process and deadlines.
Make a Connection! Conference Follow-upBack to Top
Thanks to your participation, the Make A Connection 2003 conference was an overwhelming success with over 180 people in attendance! We continue to receive very positive feedback from participants and we want to say thank you for taking the time to drop us a line indicating so. A special thank you to those who presented at the conference and to those who assisted with facilitating the group discussions.

Exterior SignageBack to Top
For those centres that didn't take their new CAP exterior sign with them when they left the CAP Conference, the rest signs will be sent out to you in the coming weeks. We want to remind you that these new green, blue and white signs are meant to replace the old red, black and white ones. Once you take down your old sign, you can dispose of them in any manner you see fit.
November StatsBack to Top
Yes, it is that time again – please submit your Stats for the month of November. Remember, your stats are important to us! Just a reminder - to submit your stats, go to the CAP Sites Intranet. Then you will be prompted for your user name and password. If you have not already received your user name and password, please contact your Program Officer. Should you have any problems submitting your stats online, fax them to 729-3462 or email them to us.

Last month, 61 Sites reported a total of 12, 215 users. It's still not too late to submit your October stats!
Quick ClicsBack to Top
Many of you had the opportunity to take in Mike Hannay’s demonstration of Quick-Clics during our recent CAP conference. This ‘train the trainer’ resource is currently being used to deliver basic training in CAP sites across the country. We’ve piloted Quick-Clics in CAP sites throughout this province and have already been hearing some very positive responses. We are now encouraging all CAP Site representatives to make use of this valuable resource. Quick-Clics modules can be found at http://theorix.cnbb.nb.ca. Please contact your Program Officer to obtain your username and password.
