Marketing
CAP is always looking for new ways to market the program. If your site is creating any marketing and promotional material, we would like to see it. From print to electronic media, any ideas and materials are welcome. Any successful ideas that we receive can be shared with other sites and perhaps become part of our provincial marketing campaign. Don’t be modest! The most simple ideas are often the best, so share the wealth. Please forward any submissions to your Program Officer at your earliest convenience.
The CAP Booth at ConferencesBack to Top
CAP has a new booth and promotional materials which have been developed as part of our most recent marketing campaign. We are always interested in opportunities to showcase CAP at any conferences and expositions that may be taking place in our province. If any member of the CAP network is involved with or knows of an event which may be used to promote CAP we ask that you contact your Program Officer with the details. We’ll contact event organizers and take it from there. We want to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible, so your cooperation is appreciated.
Government OnlineBack to Top
This fall, a traveling roadshow will hit the Province in an attempt to inform Newfoundlanders and Labradorians about all of the online government services that are available. From September 15th to December 12th the two person team will travel the Province, visiting different trade shows, conferences and CAP Sites promoting Government Online.

A schedule is currently being drawn-up that will hopefully see this attraction hit every part of the Province. When this project is finalized we will provide all of our CAP sites with more information. It is our hope, that at least one person from every CAP site will have the opportunity to learn about the many Government Online initiatives, if not in your own hometown, than at our Conference in November.

Monthly StatisticsBack to Top
As you know, we have included monthly statistics reporting as a condition your Application/Agreement for Funding for 2003-2004. Thank you to everyone who has submitted their CAP Site statistics thus far. If you haven't already done so, it's time to submit your statistics for the month of July. Statistics are to be submitted on-line at the CAP Site Intranet: http://www.nfcap.nf.ca/login. Please contact your Program Officer immediately for your username and password if you have not received it already.

Convenient, affordable Internet access is important to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. To maximize the chances of obtaining funding beyond March 2004, we must have accurate information about the level of CAP site usage in this province. We appreciate your cooperation in this effort.
