CAP Promotional Materials
CAP Staff have been busy stuffing envelopes! You should receive a package of promotional material within the next 7-10 days. We want to ensure that your site has promotional material on hand before the launch of our November marketing campaign. Included in the package are CAP Brochures, Site List Brochures, 2 CAP t-shirts and blank CAP posters. And there’s more to come later!

As a reminder, the posters are for your own local advertising. They are printer ready, so you can add your information quickly and easily (a sample has been provided for you). Please feel free to wear the t-shirts as you work at the site or hold your own local prize draws. In addition, CAP will be giving away 10 t-shirts per week throughout the month of November. Please encourage site users to visit www.nfcap.nf.ca in November to enter to win!
Make a Connection! ConferenceBack to Top
7 Minutes of Fame - Did you ever wonder what innovative and exciting things are happening at other CAP sites? At "Make a Connection!" ten CAP sites from across the province will talk about what is happening at their site. However, with so many sites doing innovative things we haven't decided which sites will be highlighted. At this time, we would call upon sites that are attending the conference to come forward and volunteer to talk for approximately seven minutes. This is your chance to share your site's success stories and ideas that you fell would be of benefit to other sites around the Province. Some possible topics include: tech support, revenue generation, use of volunteers, community involvement, training, partnerships, staffing, CAP Day, marketing and promotion, working with disabilities, and literacy. If you would like the opportunity to be one of the ten highlighted CAP Sites, please inform your Program Officer by Friday, October 31st.

Deadline for Registration - Just a reminder that the deadline to register for "Make A Connection!" is this Friday, October 24th. We would love to see you there.

Revised Agenda / Session Details - Plans are well underway for the Make A Connection! conference. Please visit our web site at www.nfcap.nf.ca/conference/ for an updated agenda. While looking at the agenda, on the top of that page, please select “Click for more comprehensive conference details” for a complete description of conference events.

Travel Arrangements - Expect to receive a telephone call from your Program Officer this week concerning travel arrangements for the conference. Your Program Officer will discuss your mode of travel, the amount of travel subsidy you can expect to receive, and confirm your home mailing address.
